Biography
I am a native Delawarean. I attended St. John the Beloved and then St. Marks. I received my degree in Physical Therapy at Boston University, my Masters in Education at UD, and my doctorate in Physical Therapy at Widener. Most of my career was spent at the University of Delaware; 19 years as Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy and 6 years as a Faculty Development Specialist in the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning. I retired from UD in 2024, and am thoroughly enjoying the time I now have to play more pickleball and travel 🥰.
I continue to stay active in my profession by serving on the DE State Board of Physical Therapy and reviewing cases related to ethical or legal violations for the PA Board State Board of PT. Additionally, I work with college faculty by providing teaching consultations, I provide private senior wellness sessions, I teach yoga, and occasionally do some pet sitting.
I live in Hockessin on 6 acres with my husband of 30 years, Roger, and have 2 grown daughters, Katie who lives in Seattle, and Sara who lives in Salem, OR.
