DSPC in collaboration with McKean High School offers pickleball in their gym 2 nights a week during most of the school year. There are 3 courts available and you must sign-up on Playtime Scheduler to play.

This is available only to members of DSPC and is free.

This senior center has two lined courts on a basketball court. Membership is required and it is free to join Mid-County Center Only for those over 55. Fee to play pickleball: $2.50/hr.

This is a New Castle County park that offers 8 outdoor pickleball courts with permanent nets. Check Playtime Scheduler to see when people are playing. This is a free place to play. During sessions that are posted on Playtime Scheduler, players rotate off the court after playing a game. If there are less than 5 paddles waiting in the rack, then the winners may stay on and play the next 2 in line to play. If there are 5 or more paddles waiting, then all 4 players come off and place their paddles back in the rack to play again.

If there are 5 or less paddles waiting in the rack, then the winners may stay and play the next 2 players waiting. If there more than 5 paddles in the rack, then all 4 players come of the court so that the next 4 players can play.

Deacons is considered DSPC's "home court" for League play.

New as of 2024, there are 6 pickleball courts open to the public for use. The courts are open for free play Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am-11:00am. It is encouraged for people to sign-up on Playtime Scheduler as this allows people to get a sense of how crowed it might be. Outside of these times courts can be permitted at $10 per hour fee for advance reservations or walk-ons.
