Diamond State Pickleball Club members are mostly from the Northern Delaware Region, and surrounding areas of Pennsylvania and Maryland. Members can be found playing at the local Parks and Rec Centers in the area.
Below are some of our favorite spots, but there are many other places to play in Delaware. You can find many of these places on Playtime Scheduler. It is encouraged for you to sign-up to let others know you are planning to play. Plus you can see how many other players are planning to play and what level players they are. Other resources for finding pickleball places locally and anywhere in the US include Places to Play and Pickleheads.
DSPC Court Liaisons
The role of the court liaison will vary depending on the place of play: privately owned club, public school gym, a county facility (ex: PAL) or an outdoor park. Any questions, concerns, etc... should be brought to the liaison's attention. This might include:
- Are the courts in good shape? Any repairs needed?
- Is there correct signage that explains the playing rules and regulations?
- Need for more balls (only for PAL, Deacons Walk, and Delcastle Park)
- Any other needs: Repairs, paddle racks, nets, fence, gates, shade, wind screens, etc?
- Complaints?
- Safety concerns?
